I’m Mr. Liu from Ipoh, Malaysia. I have a hawker friend in his 50s (male) who went blind in his right eye after a failed eye surgery. Here's what happened:
About five years ago, his right eye suffered a microvascular rupture and bleeding. He immediately underwent surgery by a specialist. Five days later, he returned for a follow-up and asked why he still couldn't see. The doctor said it would recover in a week. After waiting another seven days, the doctor told him that due to overuse of a laser (around 45 minutes), the surrounding tissues and cells were burned, and the eye was beyond recovery.
